The Golf Classic Is Back — Here's Everything You Need to Know

Every April, we look forward to one of our favorite days on the PHCC calendar — the Golf Classic. It's the one day a year when our members, partners, and friends from across San Diego's trades industry put down the tools, get out of the office, and spend a Friday together on the course. This year, we're heading back to Carlton Oaks Golf Course in Santee on April 24th, and we'd love to have you there.

Here's a look at what the day includes, what the VIP upgrade gets you, and how to lock in your spot before early bird pricing closes on March 20th.

What a Day at the Golf Classic Actually Looks Like

We want this to be a full day — not just a round of golf. Every ticket includes breakfast before you tee off, a full round with a cart, lunch in the middle of the day, a drink ticket, post-golf snacks, and a raffle ticket for prizes at the end. You show up, we take care of the rest.

Carlton Oaks is one of those courses that earns its reputation. Tree-lined fairways, some real elevation changes, and enough challenge to make a good round feel satisfying. If golf is your thing, you'll enjoy the layout. If it's not — no stress. Half the fun of this event is the people you're playing with.

We've always said the Golf Classic is less about the score and more about the day. That's still true.

Bringing Your Crew? Here's What the VIP Upgrade Adds

A lot of our members come as a foursome — a few guys from the company, a longtime vendor, a client you've been meaning to catch up with. If that sounds like your group, the VIP Foursome upgrade is worth a look.

On top of everything in the standard package, VIP foursomes get a fully stocked cooler with drinks and snacks ready to go on the cart, four extra drink tickets, and four full sheets of raffle tickets. It's not a huge jump in price, but it does make the day feel a little more dialed-in — especially if you're hosting clients or just want your group to be well taken care of from the first hole to the last.

We want to make it easy to bring your team out, so here's where pricing stands right now:

PHCC Members

Individual: $185   |   Foursome: $695   |   VIP Foursome: $985

Non-Members

Individual: $210   |   Foursome: $815   |   VIP Foursome: $1,150

Early bird pricing closes March 20th. After that, rates go up. If you're on the fence, now is the time to decide — foursomes, especially VIP, tend to go before the deadline.
